Nestling between the road and river, Dumsey Meadows is a SSSI and grazing land. I walk there with an on lead reactive dog as it is fairly quiet, interesting sniffs with good visibility to keep a safe distance from others. There are 2 small car parks with 1st hour free, rubbish bin and poo bin. But 3 stars only because

1. Sadly despite clear signage to keep dogs on leads, owners and dog walkers with multiple dogs let them run off lead.
2. Also there is a disappointing amount of poo not picked up which considering it's grazing for cattle is really unacceptable as both dogs and cattle can get nasty parasitic illnesses such as neosporosis.
