This is a wonderful place to bring the kids for a run around on the wide open area at the top on a sunny day, make sure to dress up warm if it's windy however. Seems quite endless, good forest so ideal shade in hot weather, with a nice stream at the bottom, quite a hill to get to top of Shipley glen where you can have a nice picnic. Busy but not surprising as on the doorstep of a number of towns north of Bradford. Lots of Oaks and silver birch trees and a small resivour toward the end of the woods.
