Unfortunately only stayed in the water for 10mins as it was full of Jellyfish! Not sure if always like this as no-one else has mentioned and I know it is obviously sea water so loads of seaweed (which is okay) and Jellyfish I guess is normal too, just didn't expect it so had to jump out! A little boy was going round with a net collecting them and caught about 20 in less than 2hrs! I'm told they can't hurt you but still think people should be aware nonetheless. Regardless of this though we did have a lovely day in the beautiful weather sunbathing on the sun loungers you can rent for £4 right next to the sea and beautiful scenery. Just a note, if you're not a fan of children maybe go during school hours or early in the morning as after about 3 / 4 o'clock, a load of teenagers appeared jumping and splashing, screaming and shouting and changed the vibe from relaxing to...

Ok this place is epic! Coming on holiday to Brixham was lovely and this pool topped it off. Having not been in the sea all day, we decided to go in late evening, near high tide. The changing rooms were still open, so this made changing much easier. Of course it was freezing so wet suits definitely come in handy! But being here was an incredible experience, because although you're in a safe contained area, you still feel like you're in the sea! The waves were crashing in, just like a normal current (only recommend strong swimmers going at high tide). The pool did fill up and overflow quickly do we didn't get long, but if you enjoy the thrill of a strong sea, but want a "safety net", this...

Visited on a weekday during the UK school summer holidays and some how managed to get the whole pool to ourselves for at least 20 minutes. Staff friendly. Operate in a 'voluntary donation' of £3.50 per adult or £8.00 as a family. Bargain if you ask me. Life guards on duty. Small friendly gift shop. Cafe nearby to get a warm drink afterwards. Carpark and toilet facilities nearby. Outside showers to wash sea water off. Cubicles to get changed in and out of wet clothes. Steps up to these are steep if you have limited mobility. Pool has ladders to get in where it is slightly deeper or a gradual slope for younger children or those with limited mobility. If you love swimming this...

Lovely place for older children & families. No sand. Sea water pool surrounded by rock pools at either end. Free of charge but donations asked for to keep the running of the pool going. Cafe bar servings snacks & drinks with a sit in restaurant overlooking the pool & sea which serves seafood etc. You can hire deck chairs & loungers. Beautiful views across the bay & we even caught a sneak peek of the resident seal. Parking was £5 for 4.5 hours & you pay on the way out. Public toilets are also clean & FOC. We took a picnic & bought drinks & ice creams. Lifeguards on duty. Free changing rooms. Great family day out with the dog. Gem of a find. We will be returning for sure.
