Let me share a memorable night I had at The Garage. The atmosphere was buzzing with energy, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening.
As I made my way to the bar, a friendly face named Ben welcomed me with a warm smile and a twinkle in his eye. Little did I know that Ben would be the maestro of our night's adventure. His mixology skills were on full display as he crafted a series of exquisite cocktails, each one a unique masterpiece.
But what truly set Ben apart was his ability to read the room. When he overheard us celebrating a friend's birthday, that twinkle in his eye turned into a spark of creativity. He concocted a surprise birthday cocktail, complete with a sparkler. The whole bar joined in a spontaneous toast, and our friend's face lit up with joy.
Ben's charisma and dedication to ensuring our night was exceptional transformed a regular evening into something truly magical. The Garage, with its vibrant ambiance and diverse drink menu, was the perfect backdrop for this remarkable experience.
If you're seeking not just a night out but an adventure, head to The Garage and ask for Ben. He's not just a bartender; he's a storyteller, a mixologist extraordinaire, and a magician who turns moments...

Β Β Β Read moreI would love to give a positive review, but unfortunately that was not our experience. Myself and 10 friends attended the street food and live music night and I must say that the website pictures are very misleading. The venue looks dilapidated and there were large weeds beside us at the outside tables. Would it really be so hard to pull up those weeds and install some attractive flower tubs for the summer? Temporary metal fencing inbetween the outside seating and the car park looks scruffy. The street food is overpriced and very small portions. The bar is expensive for the type of venue. The prices are those of an upmarket bar in town, while the surroundings are grotty. The live music was just one busker with a guitar, not the 'Latin trio or 21 piece band ' advertised on the website.
I felt disappointed and silly to have recommended it to my friends in the way it was described on the website.
OK its only Β£1 to get in, but overall - overpriced and scruffy. Needs smartening up. We won't be...
