Probably lovely if you're a visitor to the area, though so many of the beautiful big trees that were planted 100 years ago as an arboretum have been chopped down that the park is somewhat spoiled by their stark straggly bare trunks, or fungus encrusted stumps. For those of us who live here it has become tedious. I call it the hamster wheel. Try the local cafés, they're lovely, as long as you don't have food intolerances or restrictions. And there's 4 independent clothes shops in the high street, and a really good independent food shop selling brands you won't have seen in the...

A pleasant place for a stroll along the river Wye, the avenue of trees may not match the dramatics of the one used in 'The Game of Thrones', but it's a lovely feature especially on a sunny day. Each time I have walked the path I have been rewarded with wildlife, from jumping fish to Sand Martin's darting in out out of there nests...

Great place for a Sunday walk with the dogs, can be very busy especially with other dog walkers but there’s plenty of space along the path. Plenty of dog bins for use and some nice views of the river and the bridge. Free toilets and the very large car park, short walk into town with some good pubs.

Stopped through on my way back to Carmarthen, had to stop for this most incredible view! Car park is chargeable at about £2.50 for 2 hrs, toilets available, disabled parking. Lovely little walk along the river and lots of greenery and nature to see. Close to shops and little cafés. But that view!
