I visited this place yesterday, I think I may live in a parallel universe. OK the people were friendly it's quaint but the menu is Dull with a capital D. I didn't eat despite being hungry as the menu is probably the most unimaginative 1980s fare with probably the most exciting thing being a 'special' bacon brie and cranberry toasty. The cakes are not home made either. Oh and a baked potato for £6...
Really who gets up in the morning says ooh I'm going to open a cafe where it will serve the world's dullest menu? Please visit the likes of Ellen's at 139 @ Llandeilo for an idea of what imagination looks like. Its not perfect but at least they make an effort.

A beautiful old building, open fire, and a genuinely warm and friendly welcome from all the staff - despite my husband wearing an England rugby shirt! We both had the Drover's Breakfast - a huge delicious plateful and excellent value for money (and extra thanks for making mine gluten free - most appreciated). Great coffee too. I had scrambled egg on toast with a mug of tea. The toast was nice made from seeded bread and the egg was.scrambled well, not too dry or wet. Nice cuppa too. Can't fault the price or service.
