A very lovely walk from the church to the Drinkwater park (previously Prestwich tip, now partially housing). The Drinkwater area, at least, edges ancient woodland near Phillips park end. This is reflected in both the wide variety of fauna (incl. deer), fungi and flora (at least, where Himalayan balsam hasn't taken over) - and was particularly popular during Victorian times - fun for the naturalists. The Clough is a fairly straight path with the very odd small offshoot. There are virtually no bins/dog bins, and those that are there are generally overflowing. Good for dog walking. Parking is tricky - both at the church and at the other end at rainsough brow, very little. Often worth parking slightly...
