Greek station — Restaurant in Bury

We’ve been here a few times now and although it’s never been great, my partner, seems to love it. Tonight however, we won’t be ordering again…

I ordered the lamb souvlaki and for £13.49 on Deliveroo, I feel as though we’ve been taken for a ride. 2 tiny skewers of lacklustre, dry looking meat, one of which was completely inedible as it was pretty much entirely sinew - I couldn’t even get my teeth through it! The other one I could manage, although very chewy and dry. Not enjoyable.

I’m absolutely furious that I’m still bloody starving after my “meal”, which in the end consisted of wet bread (because of the steam as the lamb, chips and bread were all in the same container), chips, a bit of side salad and some yoghurt sauce. If I wanted chips and bread, I I would’ve sorted that myself, not pay the best part of £15.

I wish I could add pictures to this review, as a warning, because I’m utterly disgusted. As I say, one of the skewers was almost entirely made up of sinew which turned my stomach.

Try at your own risk, but I definitely won’t be doing...

When I first walked in the vibes were off, one with a brain knows 5 chicken wings is 5 chicken wings right? Well here things seem to work a bit differently because my simple wish of 5 chicken wings had been grossly misinterpreted into 5 bloody portions and hence I was charged £48. My card was declined and the server still had no idea of the mega mistakes made. I was told I wasn’t allowed to use the card machine again and he dialled up his big boss and made me chat to him. In the end I got send a payment link taking agessssss to come through. Piss take. I got a free salad but I don’t even like tomato’s so...

Longest wait for fast food. Ordered dinner on Sat night at 19.45, app on phone said it will be prepared and delivered in about 48 mins. At 20.45 the countdown on the app had finished, but still showing it was being prepared and not out for delivery. Called them to check on the progress, was told they were a bit busy, but my order is on its way, it will be another 5 - 10.mins. They are very sorry for the delay, we'll give you a free item for waiting and we'll make the food extra special for you. At 21.30 our delivery arrives, cold greasy greek takeout food. They even had the cheek to charge me 50p...
