Cherry Hinton Chalk Pits — Attraction in Cambridge

Chalk pits can be accessed on the left hand side of Lime Kiln Hill. Be aware of traffic and caravans turning into camp site. Dog walkers, bird watchers and adventure track cyclists: Great place to take your dog or cycle. Completely gated off if you want to walk your dog off lead. Differing levels to walk on and information board adds to the interest of this place. On the higher level of the pit some adventure track cyclists can be seen. Mostly scrub land with rabbits here and there. Keen bird watchers can find some interesting birds here. Only one dog receptacle at the entrance so beware and take bags to clear up...

Safe place to bring your dog. Totally enclosed for any escapees. Could be a fist time place for you to let your dog off the lead.
