Lovely afternoon, relaxed, place safe to run around, fantastic park, toilet facilities and coffee shop and bars nearby added bonus of a sea breeze under the 29 degrees sunshine.

First time we have been here. Brilliant park. Lots of different things to go on for all ages of kids. Definitely recommend this park for a stop off on your journey 👌

A lovely place to have fun on a warm sunny day! Trust me, I'm not joking! Pirate park is excellent for children (roughly 3-12) to play in and have fun. Different parts of the playground designed for different ages! The big field is green, grassy and great overall! Ball-friendly There are a few picnic tables - wonderful! Toilets available - very convenient especially for children. Parking is a bit limited but not bad. Walking there would be nice though as the surroundings are excellent - Castle, sea, park, shops, etc. Certainly family-friendly - you cannot argue against that! Some wonderful shops nearby including Mauds, an ice cream shop that is conveniently positioned near the play park and field. Who doesn't love a refreshing ice-cream after playing in the sun having lots of fun! Some buildings nearby if it rains and you are not willing to leave for whatever reason! Do not blame Marine Gardens for the bad weather though!

So, overall, Marine Gardens is an excellent outdoor area that has something fo everyone to do! Highly recommended to visit regularly especially in spring/summer if you live nearby! I wish I could give it 6-stars! :)

I hope this review gives you a good, detailed impression of the...

One of our favourite spots for the kids. Great throughout the day but avoid on evenings as there are always teenagers either drinking or causing general disruption. We have had to call the police twice as one instance had a clearly underage girl drunk and left by all her "friends" and the second instance a teenager threw a watergun at our daughter. Unless the council and police agree to put something in place its not suitable for children past 6:30pm which is a pain as we like to finish work and take our kids for a quick play and...

Lovely place with lots of free space for kids to run around or play with a lovely grass area with lots of benches and walls to sit on and picnic tables all with a view of the sea. There are 2 ice cream places near where you can get food sundaes ice cream and coffees. There are public toilets under the clock tower at the cafe although the cafe wasn't opened today. There are also lovely memorials and statues that can be appreciated along with the stunning sea views with a car park...
