Refused a 3 year old access to the bathroom. Open for business as usual, sitting in available, yet bathroom closed due to 'covid'. One of the young staff went in the back to ask the management was it ok to use the bathroom as it was almost an emergency. The answer was no. Not even the backbone to come out and tell me face to Face. No social distancing enforced, no sanitisation available or cleaning in between customers using the sitting in areas, yet bathroom unavailable to paying customers due to 'covid' Will not be back. Will be encouraging family and friends not to support this place either. All the prices have been steadily and unjustifiably increasing this last year or so. Icecream is great no issues. But I would like to draw your attention to 5 star hygiene rating certificate displayed at front. At busy Christmas eve dozens of people rushing through. I poped in to get 3 cones for my kids and asked blonde guy to take a napkin before taking the cone after money collection. He smiled me back and took it without a napkin. I repeated my request 3 times before every next cone, explaining that I don't want my kids to have stomach bug for Christmas. But he continied taking cones with his dirty hands smiling me back. Ice-cream is delicious, so many choices/flavours/combinations to choose from. A few tables, not that many though. Some decor. Basic toilets available - very good and important. There are also some other treats other than ice-cream available to purchase and consume. Food hygiene rating of 5 - Very Good. Pricing is ok in my opinion. BONUS: Marine Gardens/shoreline/castle nearby so great positioning of this shop!
