If you want an establishment that is convenient, inviting, reasonably priced and has delicious, home-made fayre ( and totally accessible for the disabled worth handy toilet facilities round the corner!! ) you can't do better than the Clock Tower café. The food is cooked the way you want it, you can sit outside or in, and is handy to Marine Gardens and the Pirate Ship parks and the famous Norman castle. If you want time to yourself in peace and quiet, or fancy a good chat with the proprietor you can have either. Tea and coffee are quality as is the food and the staff cannot do enough to help you.
