A small but packed museum telling an interesting history of the area and its notable characters. We visited today and experienced a very well organised and well considered operation given the additional safety measures that need to be in place. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly offering a good balance of time to explore with helping guide us through and sharing knowledge. With 2 young children in tow we were pleased with how they were welcomed and the information shared was geared to them. Would definitely recommend visiting this little gem. We were welcomed by volunteer staff Howard and Shirley, who treated us to a well-informed tour of the amazing and nostalgic exhibits. There is something of interest for all ages. We think the museum is a great asset to the town and represents the people of Chard (past and present) in a very knowledgeable way....
