I was so excited when I heard this place had young new management, but I shouldn't have bothered. Under stocked,since day one, nothing happening there, empty week after week, attracting no new custom whatsoever, staff are friendly enough but just serve, and then go back to their permanent little clique, talking with each other, and nothing else. Decent sized pub with a welcoming landlord and frequented by friendly locals. Nice and reasonably priced pub grub (Sunday roast highly recommended). Nice open fire that gets lit in the winter. Beer garden with kids play area out back. Car parking available. Very dog friendly, the 'help yourself' policy to the dog treats jar means your good boy or girl will get spoilt...

Stopped by a while ago for some food. Was good, nothing to complain about. Service was great and in a timely manner.
