Woodgreen Leisure Centre — Attraction in Cherwell District

The leisure centre is rocking that tin shed aesthetic, but don't let that put you off! Behind the rather austere exterior is a cracking 50m outdoor heated pool. The season for this pool is relatively short, but the timetable is fairly extensive. Booked online for a lane swim, and at £5.65 this was good value for money. Plenty of free parking on site. Reception staff were friendly and walked me through to the pool changing area. Plenty of cubicles, clean toilets, warm showers, and lockers (£1 refundable). There is lots to keep the children entertained (slides, splash fountains etc), but the star of the show is the pool. Heated to around 26° it was immaculately clean and the lane swim session was popular but well organised with 2 life guards looking on....

Nice welcoming staff. Especially Kate the manager, who not only helped us with the membership paperwork, but also took the time to make my 14 year old daughter feel confident when she was deciding if this was the right gym for her to go to. I'm so sorry to the guy who gave my daughter the gym induction as I've forgotten your name. However, the skill and customer service he showed while doing his job is certainly not forgotten! Thank you.

I highly recommend the centre's excellent new facilities and it's cleanliness. And obviously the team of staff who make everything run...

Where do I start since me and my partner joined we have had nothing but trouble. They haven't taken payment so I went in on the 1st of the month to pay then I'm now getting bombarded with £20 added fees. The staff on reception are absolutely useless with no training at all. They will tell you what you want to hear then do nothing. The manager has replied to 2 emails and has reassured me that she is just clarifying with hand office and will get back to me ASAP. That was 4 days ago and she now hasn't replied to my last 5 emails. Keep well away or just...
