Beautiful spot. We rested and were thankful. This spot is to remember the old times when walking up a huge hill was a much harder task. Once at the top, you are supposed to stop, rest, and be thankful. Simple concept overlooked by people now days. Do yourself a favor and remember this practice

Its very hilly and sadly the animals just look so sad and board and like theres not enough room . The kangaroos had so much more space than the rhino who did the same circuit of his pen over and over and over again. I felt quite sad when I left . If you love animals I wouldn't recommend it . 😔😒

We definitely rested a few minutes here to enjoy the view during our trip to Edinburgh Zoo! We actually landed here by accident, as we were looking for the zebras (map-reading isn't my forte), and boy were we glad we'd stumbled in this place. The view is lovely, no matter the weather.

Beautiful and stunning view! The walk is not super easy but is manageable with a good pair of hiking shoes. Entrance from the Corstrophine Road next to the hospital and easy to find. Not many tourists as compare to Arthur Seat and Calton Hill. Tranquil and nice.

Park with nice pathways and lovely nature. Great place to take a walk with or without dogs. There are also some places with an awesome view on Edinburgh, and sometimes u get a glimpse into the zoo with Zebras and other animals. We loved it.

Good view of the city all-around. There is also a Hill tower which is open on Sundays around 2pm in Summer and a walled garden on the Corstophine Road side. See attached maps and details for other attractions including a nuclear bunker.
