Genuinely the worst coffee I’ve had in a long time. I ordered a flat white for myself and an oat milk latte for my wife, for the flat white the person serving poured a full double espresso, before pulling through ANOTHER double shot of water through the same coffee in the group head, then topped with lukewarm foam….none of which constitutes a flat white. They then used the steam wand on the oat milk without wiping off the dairy milk first, and steamed it to within an inch of its life, resulting in burned milk. Good food, excellent host, casual atmosphere, clean restaurant, reasonably priced.

Small little neighbood restaurant where everybody knows everyone. Warm sense of community. The restaurant serves a wide variety of Scottish comfort foods.

The food was served hot and with good presentation. The taste, quality and portion size were good. The host was super nice as were the patrons. They do not appear to have a public restroom.

Overall, a unique dining experience.

Absolutely cracking breakfast! Had the Full Breakfast. Beautiful presentation which isn't an easy thing to achieve with a full English/Scottish. Beans are served in a separate dish, so no soggy bits. Square sausage, potato cake, haggis, 2 eggs, tomato, lovely toast made with fresh bread, normal sausage , 2 slices of quality bacon and a slice of black pudding. Decorated with a sprig of Rosemary.
