Two hundred year old woods with nice trees and also cliffs from old sandstone quarries. A pocket of wilderness in the city. I'm here now and I can hear three or four species of birds alongside the noise of two guys bonking a tennis ball at a nearby court. But I shall wander further...

This is a great walk, but it isn't so good for a loop. If you bring a dog, make sure to keep them on a leash near the top as there is a big quarry and a steep cliff. There is a fence but my 4 year old whippet managed to make it around the fence and...
