Starbank Park — Attraction in City of Edinburgh

Pet Friendly Park! This park has two sections. The lower park, closest to the main street and water, is on a hill and is open. The day visited, there were freindly dogs playing with their owners on the lovely grass area.

The real bonus is at the top of the hill! The second part of the park has a historic house, Starbank House, with paved walking areas, overhanging trees, flowers, and just a lovely small gem.

It's definitely worth visiting if you have a little time and are close by!

The top half (the half furthest from the sea) has beautiful flowers, etc. It's got a fairy/story walk for the kids and a very small free (honesty based) library for both kids and adults.

The other half is no good if you have mobility issues as it's entirely on a steep slope. However, there are places to rest and the kids love...
