A very pleasant few hours walking from the quarry car park at Craster to Dunstanburgh castle and the beach beyond at Low Newton. Easy going path with good gates, a few rocks section but manageable. There are plenty of sheep around and one field with cows so leads required for the dogs, can run free on the beach beyond. We walked on a lovely day and thoroughly enjoyed it, started with food in the car park (Pipers Pitch) and a coffee by the harbour, ended with a pint and dinner in the Jolly Fisherman, a top day out

Recommended this walk from Craster to the castle, back for a bite to eat and a pint in the Jolly Fisherman. Toilets in the castle are for National Trust members only.
