It's a really nicely kept park in the middle of a very busy area, not far from Merry Hill Shopping Centre. Lots of grassy areas for kids and dogs to have a run around and a children's playground that looks well kept. Good wide paths and plenty of benches to sit on There is also a cafe with an outdoor sitting area which is dog friendly and the coffee smells amazing! There is on the street parking or a decent sized car park which is accessed from Thorns Road, There is a running/cycling track round one side of the park near to the War Memorial, for keen runners or cyclists. It's a nice park and one that Bolly and I will definitely visit again, so as she can have a run around and I can try...

There is also a bandstand as well large open spaces used for football and a fenced war memorial which is possibly the most unique thing in the park. The fact a coffee shop has been opened on the site also adds nicely to...
