Gunton Wood is a 2.8 hectare Local Nature Reserve in Lowestoft in Suffolk. It is owned by Waveney District Council and managed by the Gunton Wood Community Project. This was formerly part of the gardens of Gunton Old Hall, which was demolished in 1963.

Gunton Woods is a well maintained and a well used nature reserve in Lowestoft, Suffolk. You see a lot of different birds, trees, fungi and squirrels. We also visited the old church next door; as I was in a group, and took lots of photos of both places. There were also lots of dog walkers. It's just so peaceful with lots to see if you have more time as were only there for an hour. Amazing place to walk your dogs, as long as you pick up behind them and are mindful of the wildlife that lives in the area.
