Great local park. I walk the dog here every evening Great playground for our kids too. It is a valued and lovely local resource. Some issues in the evenings courtesy of the local recalcitrant 'yoofs' and we have seen the playground destroyed by fire in the last few years, since replaced at expense to the taxpayer. I'd encourage anyone locally who sees antisocial behaviour in the park to report this asap via police non-emergency (unless genuine emergency of course) but basically to create local pressure and ensure issues are dealt with, as there are a small minority who do not respect this place, which is a great shame for local families. Otherwise, what you are going to find here is a spacious Victorian style park ground with a great variety of play equipment and easy access to local shops and amenities. A great place!
