A nice walk that features well manicured flower beds and the leaking boot statue , a homage to lady Diana , plus a full sized life like donkey statue that is most realistic . A cycle path has been marked out for the keen cyclists so no need to use the main road this goes along most of the sea front . There are a good amount of benches to sit on in the top end of the park and this is an ideal spot to dine on the local fish and chips or a picnic , some people have also had tribute benches put here for their families and these are also there for public use . There are plenty of things nearby to do to entertain families without breaking the bank like a pitch and put mini golf and also some old fashioned pavement style games like hop scotch marked out along the sea front . During the later part of the season there are a few illuminations that are most whimsical and reminiscent of most 50 year old plus adults childhood memories which are restored to a very high standard , my personal favourite is the mouse and the moon , it just makes you smile !!! . So for most who visit this really is a mile of smile's , or even more . A good place visit that locals and tourists alike enjoy , you only have to look at the smile's of nan and grandad and mum's and dads and the children's happy faces to see that Thier having a good time here in...
Read moreThis place tops it all. I have been many places in this world, Disney World, Skegness, you name it. So it all started when I got hungry one day and decided that I'd try the new Freddy Fazzbears pizzeria near the pier gardens so i got in my car and drove down what seemed like and avarage road and I turned around into what i could say is the most heavenly place of all. At this point the pizzeria didnt interest me, I had just witnessed a chav go flying off his bike doing wheelies 5 seconds after entering the pier gardens that enough filled the entertainment chapter to this area secondly was the colourful array of tracksuits dotted around the area with thick puffer coats in 38 degree heat, what amazing strong willed people. I was then greeted with the pier it is a large omniscient building that stands on some dodgy looking plinths which add to the fear factor giving an adrenaline rushed experience and then i decided to go for a meal the range was amazing i cold have many things such as chips, fish, chips and fish or even fish and chips it was amazing. As I excited I was greeted by a kind group of people they took my phone off me without asking but I'm sure they had good intentions behind it, after all its Cleethorpes Pier Gardens its such a great environment nothing...
