A must place visit restaurant whilst in Cleethorpes . The atmosphere is romantic Moroccan rustic , decorated in specially imported ceramics and glass from Morocco , all done to a very high standard , lighting is low and is a host of different colours from the beautiful stained glass fixtures , which adds to the romantic vibe of the place. The food is prepared by hand and is served in traditional clay dishes , all adding to the very special flavour of every dish served . The prices here are modest for the quality of food served and it is possibly the best Arabic food I have eaten outside of Morocco here in the UK . I had the meatball tagine with poached egg a selection of dips for two pitta bread and my wife had the fish in butter sauce plus a bottle of prosecco and a bottle of wine for well under £70 , plus excellent service as STD as everyone there did . The portions are generous and we couldn't eat anything else even though the desserts looked amazing . We are still talking about how special the restaurant is and cannot wait to return . Highly recommended for a very...
Read moreWhat a lovely place, colourful decor. At the entrance there is a nice plush seating area. The tables are wheelchair accessible. There is lots of food choices to please everyone. Sharing appetizers we had the meat one, it was amazing and the freshly baked flat bread was brilliant. A good selection of starters . For mains there were tagines plus fish dishes and vegetarian for you to choose. With the tagines you had a choice of home made chips, couscous or salad. We choose the chicken tagine and koftas. Potato bravas and tomato and onion salad. A good range of soft, hot and alcoholic drinks. They even have some cocktails the house cocktail Fez sounds good. Steve had the selection of pastries. They are similar to baklava (sweet). The staff were attentive and helpful. There was a little wait for the food, but this was because it's all cooked fresh. Looking forward to...
Read moreCalled on spec on a Tuesday evening having liked the look of this place during the day. So glad we did. Everything was excellent from start to finish. Even though relatively quiet the place still had a great atmosphere, lovely lighting and decoration together with music that seemed appropriate rather than any old 'pop' music. Had starters and mains but way too full for anything else. Chicken cous cous was amazing and full of the most delicious cooked vegetables and chicken. It was full of flavour, hard to describe other than savoury and warming, not spicy. My partner said his meatballs were also excellent. Service was friendly, welcoming and just right. Prices are very reasonable for such good quality. Sad we are only in the area for one night as we'd certainly return to try other dishes...
