Clean and well kept with plenty of facilities!

Great place to go for a chilled time either with family or friends... Me and my partner went for a BBQ down there with her friend and son.

Got there and the first thing you notice is the clean clear patch of grass on one side and same on the other with a few prebuilt BBQ setups made for public use along with a large amount of benches. We did take our own disposable BBQ though as wasn't sure what the prebuilt ones would be like but to be honest we needn't have taken our own as the ones there were perfectly equipped!

We also found some cinder blocks down there next to a bin for hot ashes to use once we had finished, (a great touch to keep the place nice and also keeps the place fire free!)

Parking was reasonably priced with plenty of space and even better it was free from 6 so we only needed a couple hours as we arrived at 4!

So that's the good parts... Of course there are a couple of little nitpick things that I would of liked but honestly they arent deal breakers... Firstly... I think it might be an idea to have a small shop of sorts down there... For the bits you may forget or even say you fancy an ice cream? We got there and realised we forgot napkins or wipes... Great for touching Raw meat so we ended up having to send someone to drive off to the shop just to get some to carry on... Again our fault so not a deal breaker just kind of would be handy :)

And finally, the car park I think would be a good idea to maybe make it tarmac or concrete... Whilst we were there we saw a fair number of silly people thinking it's funny to race around the dirt track kicking up dust and doing wheelspins... Not smart or safe nor were we pleased to get back and find the car covered in a sheet of dust kicked up by the cars, so probably the biggest issue I had was the car park...

But overall... Worth going and checking out, especially if you are planning to have a nice big BBQ with lots of family and friends and don't fancy having to cram them all...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting a breathtaking beach that left me absolutely enchanted. This pristine coastal paradise exceeded all my expectations, and I cannot stop raving about its beauty and serenity. From the moment I set foot on its soft, powdery sands, I felt an immediate sense of tranquility wash over me.

The first thing that struck me was the beach's crystal-clear turquoise waters. The gentle waves rolled onto the shore, inviting me to dive in and experience the refreshing embrace of the sea. The beach was well-maintained, with immaculate sands that stretched for miles, making it a perfect spot for long walks and leisurely strolls.

The picturesque scenery was further enhanced by the lush greenery surrounding the beach. Palm trees swayed gently in the ocean breeze, providing shade and a tropical ambiance. I found myself basking in the sun, mesmerized by the stunning vista before me.

What truly set this beach apart was its peaceful atmosphere. Unlike crowded tourist destinations, this hidden gem offered a blissful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The absence of large crowds allowed me to fully immerse myself in the natural surroundings, finding solace in the gentle sounds of the waves and the occasional seagull's cry.

The amenities provided were also top-notch. Clean restroom facilities, conveniently located food stalls offering a variety of tasty snacks, and well-maintained picnic areas made for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

In summary, this beach is a true paradise for nature lovers and beach enthusiasts alike. Its breathtaking beauty, tranquil atmosphere, and excellent facilities make it an ideal destination for a relaxing getaway. I highly recommend visiting this beach to experience its magic firsthand and create unforgettable...

It's a lovely spot for families, I felt. I took two little ones for their first trip to the seaside - ever (I'm their Nanny) and we had a lovely day. The car park is opposite the beach - it cost us £5.67 - using the RingGo App. There are decent public toilets, a cafe that sells ice cream, bucket and spade sets and shrimping nets as well as the usual cafe style food and drink and the beach. We spent £29.46 on 4 ice creams, 2 shrimping nets, 2 bucket and spade sets and the car parking. So I didn't think that was too bad at all. There are rubbish bins by the cafe and we put all our rubbish into 2 plastic bag and put into the bin before we left. The beach was very clean I thought. I only saw abandoned bucket when we arrived and that was it. OK, so the tide was miles out, but thanks to the sea pool, the kids got to paddle, see crabs and little fish, collect shells and look at the various types of seaweed. Which they wouldn't have done if the tide was out. It's not the most picturesque seaside spot in the UK, but it is way better than some I've been to and the people were all so friendly and kind too. I'd definitely recommend it to families as well as those with friends or on...

Nice little beach , this was at low tide and there's no water apart from the kids pool. You have to get past sharp shells and shingle to get to the sand. Highly recommend beach shoes especially for kids. When the tide comes in, it's very fast. It's better to set up camp up on the grass if you have kids, rather than down on the beach as you'll have to move. There were guards doing the rounds advising people to move. There is no shade, no trees, bring an umbrella or mini pop up tent. The facilities let it down, the toilets were shocking. It would be nice to have an outside shower to rinse off and wash feet. Plenty of parking at a reasonable fee, disabled parking is free. There's a mobile snack bar and a few minutes walk away is a beach shop, bakery and local corner shop. All in all, quite a nice beach and the water was quite warm and clean, not too much seaweed.

We thoroughly enjoyed this beach. Not too crowded we were able to socially distance easily. When the tide is out the water is no where to be seen so people walk on the mudflats. There is a paddling /rock pool that you can splash in. When the tide comes back in the water was warm and easy to swim in. I enjoyed being able to sit on the grass overlooking the sea. Wear water rock shoes as its not a sandy beach and will make the pebbles and rocks easier to navigate. Excited to find this place as its the closest beach to us in London and we will defintely return. They have BBQ area so next time will maybe do that! 1st pic low tide- no water just mudflats. 2nd pic high tide.
