Hove Park is a large and beautiful green space in a great area of Hove. There's plenty of room for picnics, whether you bring a blanket or use the many picnic benches scattered throughout the park. You'll also find benches perfect for relaxing, reading a book, or just enjoying the surroundings.
The park offers a really pleasant walk, with lots of open space, good scenery, and a peaceful atmosphere away from the noise of the city centre. It’s well-equipped too—there’s a café, basketball and tennis courts, a children's play area with a variety of equipment, and plenty of open space for a kickabout or casual football game.
Parking is available along the streets near the park, but it’s worth noting that charges can be high, so plan ahead if you’re driving. On the plus side, there are a few supermarkets nearby, making it easy to pick up picnic supplies before you head in.
Overall, I highly recommend Hove Park—it's spacious, family-friendly, and a lovely spot to unwind or spend time...

The popular cafe is charming. There is no inside seating. There is plenty outside.
Staff are lovely and polite and handle vast orders very efficiently.
They serve an array of hot drinks, teas and coffees, ice creams , cakes, biscuits and various ready made rolls, and other options. Also the perfect park for a family picnic and games as there is plenty of green.
I've used Hove Park for years, visiting with my own children, and now my grand children and friends. You can easily spend the...

You see people cycling, walking, jogging, playing football or tennis (astro turf football pitch and tennis courts can be hired). A massive and always busy children's playground adds a sense of a happy family place. There's free parking and a couple of vans to get a pizza or a decent cup of coffee (Coffee Batch) from - all in Goldstone Crescent. So if you fancy a stroll in the park after a shopping stint in TX Maxx or Lidl in Goldstone Retail Park, best to move your car to Goldstone Crescent, to avoid...
