Played football here. Nice cafe open serving hot, cold drinks and food. Was very welcoming due to the wet weather. Dog friendly from what i seen. Seating inside and out. Public toilets attached to the same building. Nice park for walks for dog lovers, fitness enthusiasts and sports . Tennis courts were open and being utilised and football pitches being used. Plenty of parking (free) on both sides of the park. My only criticism is, we found alot of dog mess on the football pitch. The home team said it was always the same. So I'm guessing the dog owners don't always follow the park rules in less busy times. All in all a nice park to visit especially with the cafe and...

Well located pub on the a6 ! Probably an old pub as it is decorated, but definitely shiny and well set upped tables. Nice atmosphere ,also got a fireplace. Wasn't busy on Sunday evening but still few tables showed up later on. The pork roast is good, beer expensive though. The menu offers good selection of starters, some pub classics (mushroom ale pie), burgers and great value steaks ( haven't tried so can't recommend), oh mini desserts are tempting(Ā£4.29 including a bit drink) or a gin eldeflower berry dessert ! Being served by a guy, probably landlord with that particular English sense of humour, like it or...

Mowsbury Park is a true gem for the town spacious, green, and well maintained, offering peace the moment you step in. It’s perfect for walks, picnics, or simply escaping the noise. The pathways are clean and easy to follow, and the wide open fields are ideal for games and sports.

There’s also a golf course, children’s playgrounds, and plenty of benches to sit and relax. The parking is convenient and accessible, making visits hassle free.

The only suggestion would be to add more bins in certain areas to help keep it spotless.

Peace, nature, and space a place worth...

We always visit Mowsbury Park whether with the dog, the children or both! Plenty of things to see and do with lots of open space! The only real negative is the opening of the cafe are very poor, they were closed today on a bank holiday Monday when the park was heavingšŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø if it rains they're closed, poor weather it's closed, I get that the staff need time off as well but I'm sure others who visit would pop in for a drink and food more if it was open morešŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

Nice place, good cafe for coffee and sandwiches. Be careful if you're there on a Sunday afternoon, you may notice lots of people dressed in armour fighting each other with shields and swords. They're Normannis reenactors. Go and say hello! Normally happy to introduce you to the hobby.
