Lovely spot in Epping Forest. A lake that feels intimate and hidden from the beaten track, although it is easily accessible. There are car parks nearby and a nice wide path suitable for wheelchairs, prams, bicycles and just plain walking of course. Some lovely clearings for picnics. A recommended spot for a family stroll suitable...

We love feeding the ducks here, never feed them bread as its bad for them. They love cooked peas and sweetcorn sunflower harts. Some dog owners let their dogs swim and cool off in the pond, I would not allow mine as I feel its not safe with sometimes the pond has toxic algae which you...
