UPDATE : RECEIVED A £70 FINE 4 WEEKS AGO ON A SATURDAY AT 13:30 FOR STOPPING BRIEFLY ON THE EXIT JUNCTION WAITING FOR CARS TO PASS, ONLY TO GET A PARKING TICKET AT THE JUNCTION, ISSUED IN ONE SECOND FLAT BY A PASSING CCTV CAR! 😡🤔

Screw that Brad! I for one will be going elsewhere for my munchies and socialising!

Lovely little place, well visited too and the staff serving were helpful and cheery. The cups of tea are more like small buckets too!

Only knocked a star off due to the short bald chap that turned up, who I assume has something to do with the business and seemed to have some sort of issue that I had stood off to one side of the hut and had a bicycle rested against the wall of the container. I didn't quite get to the bottom of what his issue was as he marched off when I queried but did take the shine off to be quite honest.

The original tea hut has been on this site for about 85 years & is still in the same family. A wide range of hot & cold food cooked to order at very fair prices. The food offered is of high quality & always fresh. It is a huge hit with motorcyclists of all types who have their own dedicated bike park. It is also used by horse riders, cyclists & dog walkers plus there is a car park for vehicles.
