One of Exeters beautiful areas to get away from the city's hustle and bustle. These are the places we need to fight to keep! I know we need houses but as we learned from lockdown, we NEED and CRAVE nature as well. I feel blessed to have such a gorgeous location on my doorstep. This place is a sacred treasure! It is an excellent dog walking area. Lovely open spaces for running, jogging, walking or having a picnic. There is a beautiful little river with little wooden bridges and vast fields to stroll through. There is a field with a bench right up the top near Pendragon Road and it has the most wonderful view. It is a great spot to sit and relax.

The perfect spot to take your dog for a walk or to just have a wonder around on your own or with friends and family. Extremely easy to walk with many choices of distance (depending on route chosen) with benches placed throughout and can be back at the free car park (with a bottle bank depository) in no time. On a sunny day this park (more like open field) is the perfect getaway from life and provides a little perspective as you mosey on through. Also if you go in season you can pick as many blackberries as you can carry. If you haven't been before definitely recommend checking it out!

Lovely space for a dog walk or stroll. Great little nooks and crannies for both dogs and kids to explore. Dog poo bins are available once you walk about a mile in and also a few benches in the clearing. Some dog walking companies bring about 10 dogs together off the lead, which can be tiresome as they don’t always behave, but not a regular occurrence. Not much parking, but it doesn’t get too busy during weekday mornings.

I live next to this park and love it and love having it next to me. I always look forward to the weather clearing up and dry so I can walk through the fields to the train the morning! It really sets you up for the day. Used to use it to walk with my daugther when she was young as there is a great playground right through to the other side if you walk further on and cross the road by the Scout hut. Lovely stream/river through the middle of the park and lots of trees to climb and areas to explore/ if you are lucky you might see some foxes! a great place to go for a walk in the summer. There are gravel paths around and well trod...
