The Stoke Arms — Restaurant in Exeter

This pub really did amaze me in every aspect.

The maître d' was highly knowledgable on the wide selection of local ales as well as the inspirational selection of home cooked pub grub.

The scenery surrounding the pub was stunning and just a stones throw from the historic city centre it makes a realistic option for a quick escape from the city.

You can tell that this pub has serious family heritage and the care that goes into all things to do with this pub is highly evident.

Considering the troubles of the recent year, the landlords have clearly put considerable effort into providing an al fresco dining experience. Well done...

This has to be the worst ever pub in Exeter in terms of it being so drab. We called it the 'sunshine indoors' pub as it was furnished with bbq tables?? To top it all they allowed some foul mouthed person to parade up and down the bar area on his mobile. They apparently served food but 'no menu' to view. Who owns this pub?? Invest some money and sort out what could be a good pub and serve...

Shocking what I've just found out and seen for myself, the daughter of the landlady has beaten up a lady who went in to pay for her Xmas dinner, tried stealing her puppy and then threw her out! To think this family work for the local authority!! Disgusting!! Not forgetting this was a regular, god knows what they would do to a customer that was just passing through and...
