Ah Morrisons, where do I start? I mean, it's an in-store cafe so we're not looking for a Michelin Star but still... The food: It varies. But mostly the fried eggs are normally under-done and the bacon is loosely meat and more fat. We had a Builders Big Breakfast Bap last time we visited which is a novelty, with not practical way of eating it beyond dismantling it. But then it's dirt cheap, it isn't fine dining, it's just cafe grub. The service: I have a lot of sympathy for the staff here who are clearly over-worked at peak times. My advice is 'don't be rude' because ultimately you're still talking to another human. A few occasions I've been in and seen customers demanding to know where their food is in the most days way possible. Go here for coffee and light bites. Don't go here for large meals at peak times.

Waited over 30 mins for an order of poached eggs only for them to be served stone cold. They were then replaced with eggs that had been nuked within an inch of existence in a microwave. I don't come for fine dining but would have expected it to be edible!

Good range of grocery and household products, but, I had a disgusting meal in their cafe earlier this year!

I thought I would have a quick cuppa whilst I had my car washed by Nibril and his team at the hand car wash. Whilst the cake was decent and the tea hot, the service was its usual awful self. Stood waiting to pay, three members of staff walked past. One (lauren) acknowledged me whilst carrying out a plate of food and said she will be right with me, another went and half heartedly started filling up the sugar etc whilst blanking me, another walked past and muttered to sugar girl 15ft away “can you serv mmmm mmmm” and pointed somewhere rushing off. Sugar girl carried in doing what she was doing. Laura came rushing back and popped into the kitchen with her hands full, sugar girl huffed and began to shuffle over to the till when Laura came back and took my money in a friendly manner. I thanked her for actually acknowledging me and serving me. Then I had the joy of asking sugar girl where the milk for the tea is, i can only presume she was sucking on a lemon whilst she thrust a tub towards me.. I say presume as she couldn't turn her head to loom at me. I dont often right reviews, I like Morrisons, but the service in this cafe made me want to vent a bit. Apart from Laura. I should have stayed out in the cold while my...

The staff here have a serious attitude problem. Completely unhelpful and down right rude, with the manager somehow being the worse. Ordered two breakfasts and two coffees and had to wait about 15 minutes just to get a couple of mugs. I was ready to give the waitress the benefit of the doubt, as she seemed incredibly stressed due to the place being completely understaffed, until she accused me of stealing coffee. I had to keep refilling my cup and throwing it away just to try and find a coffee on the machine that had any taste at all. When I told her this, she called the manager over, who went on a long rant about how the coffee machine needs a new part and she can’t be expected to keep spares lying around. She then proceeded to tell me ‘I’m sure you don’t keep spares of things in your business’ which is both untrue and irrelevant. I told her none of this is helpful as I still don’t have any coffee or refund, to which she finally decided to give me the latter. I don’t appreciate being made to feel like a villain or a difficult customer just because I wanted some coffee in the morning or at least a refund! Sort it out Morrisons, and teach your staff to take responsibility or have...

I gave up on this place a long time ago however was convinced to come back. I wish I did not. Here is my experience.

Came into the cafe and ordered on the self service all went nice and easy. Found a seat and cleaned the table from cutlery and dirt and sat down. Waited 16 minutes for the food which I do deem acceptable. Then the food came ..... 3 stone cold pieces of bacon 4 burnt luke warm sausages Freezing cold beans Fried bread that was more solid then the table. Egg was good as were the hash browns Wait where’s my toast I paid £1 for ? Let’s ask the waiter table cleaning guy. He replies oh u have fried bread. I’m like yes that comes with it where’s the toast. I have never seen someone so gormless. Eventually he goes to the kitchen comes back gets my receipt stares at it goes back to the kitchen comes back and says will be a few minutes. Well 3/4 of my breakfast later out comes 2 pieces of toast with solid unspreadable butter. Totally pointless now have to try and fight for the sundaes I foresee this as a disaster.

I won’t be coming back to any...
