A beautiful place to walk with or without your dog, but where have all the responsible dog owner gone!! Having recently moved to the area, I was shocked at how much dog poo has been left, its a real shame because the common is slowly trying to rejuvenate itself after the fire last year, there are signs of life which is wonderful to see. I walk on the Common most weeks and always enjoy it as its such a beautiful place to look around and there is a pleather of wildlife to be seen, if you take time to take in your surroundings. Best to wear your wellies and keep...

Great place to walk and birdwatch. Needs a bit more managing as getting a little too overgrown/ treey in places but that's probably due to lockdown and lack of volunteer work party days. Like all heathland at the moment very vulnerable to fire, current heat wave...

Good place for a walk, particularly with a dog. Peaceful place considering the close proximity to urban areas. Mostly natural sand/gravel paths. Not suitable for most wheelchairs...
