I don't know where to start, this is a fairly small park, but I absolutely love this place, we go at least once a fortnight, it's so well kept, like my local park used to be, we live about 10 minutes from Shirdley Park in St. Helen's, once a lovely park, don't go now, it upsets me to see how it's been let to go, I would recommend Castle Park to anyone TEN OUT OF TEN Nice place for Children, families and pet friendly, I'll have to stop because I could talk about this park for ever.😀

We dropped in for coffee and a light lunch. At 14:15, we were a little late, they close at 15:00, but we received a warm welcome nonetheless and enjoyed coffee and a toastie. There was just enough time to have a little look around Gallery 1 — I’m not sure if there are others — which was an absolute delight with it’s vibrant exhibition of work by Runcorn-based artist, Barbara Derecka. There seem to be a variety of activities on offer here too. Well worth a visit.

Peaceful well tended gardens that are beautiful to look at and walk through, a cafe serving delicious homemade food and drinks either inside amongst the amazing artwork or outside under canopy whilst listening to live music - what more could you ask for? The little shops round the courtyard have some lovely gifts - as do the galleries in the arts centre itself - and it has a happy relaxed, friendly vibe about the place. It’s dog friendly too. A hidden gem.

I visited Castle Park Arts Centre in Frodsham this weekend and loved it! It's a bijou community art gallery with cute facilities - a colourful and artsy café, with proper coffee, an outdoor patio area with live music and a few surrounding craft stores. It is set within a stunning park, with an established and well-kept garden that looks like a nice place to cool off on a hot day! There is small but fun children's play area and a great café with decent coffee and ice-cream. Frodsham is an intriguing town full of history and independent stores, so I'll be going back for an Arts Centre + town trip...

Why would any cafe owner allow tables to be piled high with dishes and food cleaning only after somebody sits down amongst it ! Why have bins next to tables ? Why not clean the floor ? This place has so much potential unfortunately the management seem clueless . Wrong dishes sent to tables . Staff looking around waiting for a customer to call them . Bland food . Uninspiring . Ordered coffee tea and food but no food arrived . In the end gave up and left paying only for the drinks . They need to...
