I never knew this park was there until I came across it needing to walk my dogs after they had sat an hour in the car while I was in the dentist next door to this park!! As I'm a keen tree spotter I was amazed over the trees in this park, Ginkos, Redwood, Tulip Tree, Magnolia to name but just a few. Numerous different shrubs too all there in the peace of this beautiful place with history oozing everywhere. Being Gloucester I didn't see one bit of litter in the park either; I stumbled over a truly lovely place - not an overly huge park but enough for uou to walk around and let the dogs have a run for an hour or so. I was there for 2 n half hours tho as I just love looking at what's growing, nature etc. You def will not be disappointed visiting this place. Parking up the side road...
Read moreloved this place. very chilled out area. plenty of bench seats and bins. not very big but secluded. the monuments in the grounds all come from several different locations in or around Gloucester and have been moved multiple times with long histories, (600 yrs or so). the trees are magnificent and many different types. will spend more time here on sunny days as shade is abundant. there are a few homeless people and they do occupy the monuments so be aware of their privacy, as respect is a...
