The Museum: Goole — Attraction in Goole

This was a superb museum to visit, showing much history of Goole as a docktown! The lifebuoys and old items such as steering wheels or bells are displayed, alongside sailor's outfits and models of the ships. This is a well laid out and very interesting small museum which is on the floor above the Library. We were there to see an art exhibition by Cynthia Ward, in the upstairs museum space. The exhibition was very well laid out and the paintings were fantastic. The museum itself was nice with some interactive items that my two young daughters enjoyed playing with. Downstairs...
