MR NessuNo — Restaurant in England

Visited for my partners birthday and I can't rate the food highly enough! Plenty of choice on the menu, even for the picky teenager we had with us. Starters of king prawns in chilli got the 👍 from my partner and the meatballs were delightful. Mains were fillet steaks which melted in your mouth, my only criticism would be that sides are not included but they're not expensive so we didn't mind, miss had a pasta dish which she devoured, and the deserts of panna cotta, creme brulee and choc fudge cake were spot on and left us pleasurably stuffed.!! The staff were young but an absolute pleasure, polite, and attentive. The 3 stars for atmosphere is only because we were the 1st people in as we ate early, but it was starting to get busy as we left. Been twice, first time was nice so we decided to go for our anniversary meal. Wish I'd cooked myself as the seafood risotto had 2 rubbery pieces of calimari and a few mussels in a volcanic temperature risotto, I couldn't eat it along with my wife eating her meal as it was so hot, and after the first bite blistering my palette there was no chance of tasting anything. I ate the seafood only and resorted to just eating more of our 'prosciutto' and fungi pizza, the 'prosciutto' was actually packaged square ham slices cut up.

The seasonal vegetables my wife had looked like a sub standard pub carvery veg selection (broccoli, cauli and carrot) and of similar quality, served alongside what was a lovely looking salmon steak in sauce. Such a shame to ruin simple food with poor quality...

Food is nice but overpriced,there is no kids menu and they wouldn't allow you to split the portion between two kids so we had to buy full portions for little ones and leave them half finished coz little kids couldn't finish the pasta and risotto which were quite big portions, also the portion of steak does not include much salad or side dish for meat, so if you want to come out full you will have to buy additional extra for an additional fee ,otherwise service was really good,and food fresh and nice,but these few things will be not making...
