Delamere Forest — Attraction in Great Britain

The forest its self has some great walks. The car park and the visitor centre on the other hand were a nightmare. We could not find anywhere to park as it was full to bursting but people just kept coming in. It should be controlled and limited. When we di eventually park it cost over £10 to park on grass in an overflow carpark. The queue for the food and drinks were horrendous and £15 for an average...

One of the best forest walks close by that I never get bored of visiting. Plenty of different routes to take to see different parts of the forest. Lots of activities here too, including GoApe, bike hire and Segway hire to explore on.

Good place if you like a trail run too with marked routes...
