Dunure Harbour — Attraction in Great Britain

A beautiful place to relax, play even to meditate. There is a small area for parking down beside the harbour. Here you can find a cafe, ice-cream and a pub. The pub has parking around the back of the pub,, For the Pub only(they are friendly if you are paying customers 🙄). It is a clean beach (apart from the selfish dog walkers. Our kid's don't want to play in your dog's mess. This place is ideal for picnics, barbecues, sandcastle building, Shell collecting and rock pool exploring. Quiet harbour with castle ruins on the coast. Fabulous Harbour Cafe, reviewed separately, and a handsome looking pub. In the Summer a festival of the sea is held with live music and stalls - we caught it by coincidence last year. Beach walks are good, the harbour is open to walk around and access the beaches. A really nice wee harbour, makes a pleasant destination for a walk and from Dunure Castle and the small beach next to the harbour, Cafe , Fish and chip shop closed as we were there out of season, but the lovely looking pub was open for business.
