A beautiful castle ruin on the Ayrshire coast, paid parking available which allows you to wander around. Can be muddy depending on weather. You are able to access both the labyrinth and the castle; the castle even has a metal staircase inside so you don’t need to worry about your footing. The labyrinth stairs are a little steep so you need to take care there.

Fine walk with the dog down on to the beach, labyrinth will look better later on in the year once flowering. Great views of Dunure castle from the beach which features in Outlander, topped off with a coffee and cake from the harbour...
