A large, sandy playground with two distinct areas for younger and older children. The older playground in particular is absolutely fantastic with lots of sand, several tall slides, rope bridges and a zip wire. The large perimeter fence is good for keeping children from running off while you relax but completely cuts you off from the rest of the park, which is a bit of a shame. There is just enough green space within the perimeter for a picnic though and there are toilets and a cafe in the People's Palace which is about a 5 min walk away.
