Visited this lovely park today. Very easy to find, plenty of parking spaces and cafe and toilets all there in a great location. Parking isn’t free, we paid £3.15 for an all day ticket on the pay by phone app. You can pay cash too and pay £2.00 for 2 hours. Everywhere was practically litter free, and my pet hate (dog poo) wasn’t anywhere, perhaps the paying to park deters the people who don’t take care of their dogs. The park is huge, plenty to see and make things more interesting. There’s a small play park for toddlers mainly. A lovely cafe with a small menu, a shop , clean toilets etc etc. There are loads of wildlife about, ducks, swans and the like, you can buy food to feed them from the shop. All in all, we enjoyed a great walk, a lovely sandwich and the sun was out. This place is 20 minutes from where I live and I’ve passed this place loads of times. I’m sure we went previously and the parking charge was much more, so we drove off, but £2-3.00 is very reasonable. We will definitely be...

Awesome place for a little dander. You could easily spend the day walking around this country park, its a hidden little gem.

There's a cafe serving just about everything at a reasonable price. Theres a little play park for kids and picnic tables near by for families to sit, watch and have food and beverages. The path is reasonably flat most of the ways around and is accessible for push chairs and wheelchairs alike. There is disabled parking and plenty of parking for everyone with an overspill car park. Theres various little lakes and one big one with plenty of wild life and birds around them. Bird feed is a must, however the birds are over friendly and very used to humans, some may see them as an act of aggression, but they are more over friendly with a little greed mixed in. They will feed off your hand no problem.

All in all, a very enjoyable day it for families and folk alike.

There is no price of admission with the exception of paying for the car park which is well priced at a...

Great park tidy park suitable for all occasions. It's tidy, well kept and a great mix of open, wooded area and marshland. We've taken our 18 month old and it took us 1.5hr at her pace, there is a few play areas as well. Its great for all family, plenty of well maintained open spaces and paths (which would be suitable for a wheelchair). Would make a perfect spot for a picnic on a nice sunny day as the fields are well maintained and there's plenty of space. You need pay by phone for parking, but considering you get a well maintained area with toilets it is reasonable. Haven't been able to access coffee shop and the gift shop due to covid-19 restrictions, but we'll certainly...
