It's a service station so have services prices in mind when visiting. Everything is about 30% more expensive across the board. inside, you have a selection of stores. Waitrose is to your immediate right as you enter, after having past the main Starbucks that is situated to the right, attached to the main lobby entrance. Then WHSmith is proceeding Waitrose and you have a toilets area to the right. The bathrooms are very nice and always kept clean however some of the urinals were taped up and unusable at the time of review. The selection of item in the two shops is limited understandable due to lack of space and perishables. Then, venturing further into the building you enter the food court. A subway, Harry Ramsdens, burger king and KFC are all situated here. All offer their entire menus like they would in their normal stores however the prices are jacked up like usual. I come to this services a lot as I live close by and so can comment on all the food. Subway offers the best tasting food in my opinion, offering refreshing subs or tasty treats such as cookies. You can use your sub card here as well. Then Harry ramsdens offers cooled breakfast and fry ups until 11:30am so if you're feeling like a full English, this is where you'll get it. The quality of the food can vary wildly as they get the least customers so it's a toss up as to how long that foods been sat there. After 11:30 it's fish and chips which is, in my opinion, a lot better in terms of quality. It's cooked to order so fresh food. Burger king offer the usual burger king food. Burgers, chicken nuggets etc. And then KFC offers your family buckets and big chicken meals. I'm not a super fan of grease fast food so neither of these options tantalise my taste but the times I have had them, they do what they need to and haven't made me regret my purchase. This site as a whole is quite small tbh and the car park can be a nightmare on bank holidays or during the summer so avoid during those times unless you want to sit in a queue for 2 hours. Otherwise, great...

Read moreStayed here a couple of days ago HGV driver night out, lots of lorry parking and close enough to the front entrance which was nice. I really liked the speakers playing music throughout from the entrance, to the food court, even throughout the bathroom, it made it feel welcoming. Looked like a nice use of the space for the food court BUT at 6:30pm why was everything to eat closed; subway, kfc, and the good breakfast, the only option left was Burger King and all their screens to order from where 'offline' so there was a massive que that took over half an hour to get served but thankfully the food that I received was hot. (Also a shame there was not option to purchase a meal voucher with parking like a lot of other services) I also used the shower but it was a terrible sight, the toilet stall I used prior had dry poo on the floor! It looked like it had been there a while so not sure how often they are cleaned but not regular enough by the look of it. There was a urinal which was all smashed up but still in use? It just looked very uncared for, the shower itself was big and spacious with a chair to put belongings amd a lockable door but that was the only plus side, no temperature dail to cool down the hot water and some terrible mold all around with an extremely dusty air vent overhead, not healthy at all. It could be a really nice place if it was...
