A Captivating Showcase of Local Talent at Woburn Art Gallery
Rating: 4.5/5
During our visit to the picturesque village of Woburn, we stumbled upon the Woburn Art Gallery after enjoying a delightful lunch at Flootes. Upon entering the gallery, we were warmly greeted by a kind and friendly host who was eager to share his knowledge of the Woburn. Being there with young children, he also guided us to the deer park at Woburn Abbey. We really appreciated the visit to the Woburn Art Gallery
The history and vision of this creative space is found on its website: Established in March 2018 by a group of ambitious artists, Woburn Art Gallery has since evolved into a platform primarily managed by volunteer artists. The gallery primarily showcases works from local artists based in Buckinghamshire and the surrounding counties, though occasionally, it also features pieces from further afield.
One of the most appealing aspects of the gallery is the ever-changing exhibition, ensuring that visitors will always discover something new and interesting upon return. This dynamic approach keeps the gallery fresh and exciting, as artwork is regularly rotated and new artists join the mix.
The diverse range of artwork displayed includes paintings, ceramic vases, pots, animal models, clocks, glassware, sculptures, wood-turned bowls and jewelry. Each piece is thoughtfully crafted, reflecting the passion and skill of the local artists.
We highly recommend Woburn Art Gallery to art enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. This charming space offers a captivating glimpse into the rich and diverse world of local talent, and is sure to inspire and engage...
