Oasis Amusements — Attraction in Great Yarmouth

Brilliant. With a week in Hemsby, we spent most of our time in this arcade. The games were all pretty good with a variety of grab machines, penny machines, old and new games and an over 18's fruit machine section. They have an air hockey game too (my favourite) but I think it needs repairing as the airflow is poor so not much fun. The staff restock the grab and penny machines fairly regularly and wipe the displays down. There are always a lot of staff members on so always someone on hand to assist.

There's hardly any prizes in the arcade section but many more on the bingo side to look at. They have men's toilets, women's toilets and baby changing facilities for 20p a go and that's super helpful with kids. The hand sanitiser stands needed refilling whilst I was there and your hands soon turn black from pennies! They also have £1 coin and 2p change machines which both take contactless now which is brilliant. There's also an ATM in there that charges for withdrawals and almost everywhere in Hemsby is cash only!!

Fantastic arcade with lots of variety of machines and reasonable prices. Like most arcades nowadays, you'll find the majority pay out in tickets which can be turned in for prizes. I was honestly shocked at how great and varied the prizes were - you can your typical kids stuff but there was loads of options suitable for teens and adults too, including more practical things like saucepans and air fryers. The prizes all felt up to date too, with current and popular items and characters. Staff were generally friendly, although you do have to keep grabbing someone for the 2 machines as some of the prizes get stuck which probably would be a pain during the busier school holiday periods. Oasis is a good place for people of any ages there are plenty of games for children to like like the 2p coin machines and there are plenty of other machines for older people like the slot machines there is also a 1p old fashioned machine in Oasis me being 19 and decided to have a go on it after my dad showed me it and tbh it’s quite fun not expensive at all to play only thing I would say is it’s quite stiff but normal for the age of it and it still works fine. There is also a F1 Racing Oasis Circuit for younger people which could be quite good obviously haven’t tried it due to age and how big I am 🤣😂🤣 but still looks like it could be fun for...
