Great place to visit. I had lots of fun with the outdoor table tennis 🏓
Adventure trails, Go Ape, outdoor barbecues, picnic areas and stunning views in little vistas.
You do have to pay for parking and it does get hectically busy with families during peak times (I was there on a May Bank holiday).
Cafe on site so you can grab something to eat and drink
Map with different length trails is available when you enter (on a sign) and they are suitable for running (1km, 3km and 5km).

Read moreThis is a great place to go with the family, especially if you have small ones or dogs. There is a big transformation happening at the moment which will really add to the woods, but even during this period you can get away from the masses and the works and enjoy a great walk through the woods... watch this space, the new cafe building...
Read moreThe woods are good with beautiful hilltop views the gruffalo trail was good with the clues and finding all the characters but the end gruffalo was just a small picture a little disappointing as I think we wer expecting a big finale!!! My little one kept asking where's the gruffalo!!! Still the woods...
