Disappointing.

We took our almost 3 year old to this venue for a 1:30pm for under 5 session. Friday 27th Aug. We tried to book 50mins prior (showed plenty of availability) however booking on both our phone it didn’t work. When we arrived at 1:20pm the front desk (both staff were supervisors) were unhelpful and said the only way to book was online. Whilst explaining it simply didn’t work we were told to call customer services?!

I appreciate this booking system online May changed for Covid restrictions however there was no face masking and significant levels of Covid restrictions have ended now.

Regardless the staff said that we have to book minimum 15mins before start time so we’ve missed 1:30pm we have to book 2pm. I said can we book 2pm and attend at 1:30pm, the response was no. Same issue with our phones we couldn’t book?! Again a very unhelpful response - Call customer service. I asked to speak to the manager because this process is flawed! The manager was unavailable. I then said can we not book on their computer screen which they “kindly” allowed us to. 2pm we couldn’t book (time is 1:30pm now)and only 2:30pm. At this point I couldn’t believe we were going to wait an hour and impatient toddler.

The supervisor said as 2pm as availability we can book 2:30pm and go in at 2pm?! However we couldn’t book 2pm and attend at 1:30pm

Deep breathes we were in. The venue is really huge but we only went to the soft play and mini jump area which is located upstairs. This had a cafe connected to it.

Soft play is nice and my daughter had lots of fun on the slide. At this point I was ready to forget about the check in process drama.

The two big annoyance about the toddler area.

There is no staff monitoring it. Regularly bigger kids kept coming in play fighting in the soft play. Climbing up the slides. When it clearly says “toddler area”! I was worried about impact on my daughter hence why I took her to under 5 and not the main jump area!

There’s an order system from your phone, don’t mind that. The area is filthy no one is picking the food left over. There is literally no staff upstairs. We had to call a staff member from the reception area to tell them about the older kids which at that point had left.

We were considering this as a venue for my daughters bday. Safely say we won’t...

This is a review of taking their party planning and event room.

We liked place from last year's visit so booked room for pre-schooler for small brithday party.

POOR ORGANISATION. This place was quick to take money, extremely poor on delivery.

From the moment of turning up on morning, we were asked to wait and had room with quite tight timing before guests arrived (limited time to get room decorated, set out cake, table and chairs!! Also basic room with decoration left over from prior parties!!) .

Then met our 'co-ordinator', seemed like a child herself, spoenvery little, no induction/info about room. Room is accessible by all so no security for people leaving items ). Didn't understand AT ALL how to run a party, left a (?her) phone on Bluetooth speaker playing not age relevant music. No help with setting up. We bought in a food, fruit and drinks package with room, DO NOT BOTHER! Waste of money.

We didn't get told of timings of how best to organise, when food will be served so we had to get children back after play with just 1hour to go for room use. Food was no where in vicinity - nor the 'co-ordinator'! We had to go SEARCHING across areas and found her manning a play area - said she couldn't leave unless released. This took time! Unbelievable. Pizza came one plate at a time. We had to go to cafe to ask for cutlery of some sort. A few parents along with us had to help to serve now hungry children. Girl took time to locate and bring a plastic knife to cut cake (as understandably we weren't allowed to bring our own), then she offered time and time again to cut up rest of cake to box, we finally accepted her help and she was nowhere to be seen again!! JUST A JOKE, PAY IF YOU WANT CHAOS!!!!!!

Staff appeared to have little training for how to interact with children of different age groups and how to maximise their experience of this play area.

TRULY TERRIBLE.

Not to forget parking is EXTREMELY tight for the number of guests they take money from daily!.cafe service is slow and taste is ok (no other options in or around so end up purchasing). Customer service overall and party service is meh. You'll be better off getting a place that's...

staff are rude, unhelpful and extremely poor with the service they give. we had a birthday party booking (booked 3 months in advance) they were very happy to take the booking and my money - booked party room and was self catered. when we arrived on the day we were told we can't have our own food, we were told our numbers and ages for the children were not what they booked for we had to show them a number of emails to show that we were in fact right and that the staff on the day had the wrong information. the manager short guy with dark hair is just obnoxious and makes things up as he goes along. we were not given the party room as agreed and paid for instead given the studio which was disgusting- very unclean, mirrors has grease marks all over the kitchen area was filthy, was definitely not suitable for a childs birthday! when i emailed to complain about the day i was instead told that they were willing to pay me for the studio however what the charged me for the party room and what they where refunding didn't match then i questioned this i was sent an arsey email back and then told that they will to refund anything.i received emails for 4 different person when complaining each one unable to apologise for their mistake or rectify anything. i would have been happy with a sympathetic apology but didn't even receive that. the manager i was complaining about was the one who ended up dealing with the complaint which makes no sense to me- how will he deal with a complaint about him?! they wasted our jump time, added stress to the guests and myself, came in during out party when my child was opening her gifts yelling at us to get out as our time was up. absolutely disgusting customer service the whole thing was chaotic, what should have been a beautiful memory of our daughters birthday was just a very upsetting day!
