The Arch Restaurant in Borehamwood has become a cherished favourite in our family, and it’s easy to see why. My husband is in the area regularly for work, and over time it’s become his go-to spot for a meal. He’s there so often that the staff even joke he should be invited to their Christmas party! That kind of warmth and familiarity speaks volumes about the atmosphere they’ve created. What’s even more touching is how they remember him his favourite dishes, his preferred drinks, even greeting him by name when he walks through the door. It’s rare to find that level of personal connection, and it makes every visit feel special. Recently, I had the opportunity to join him in London, and we went out for a meal at The Arch together. From the moment we arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed. I don’t eat meat only fish and the team couldn’t have been more accommodating. They listened carefully to my dietary needs and made me feel completely at ease. I ordered the grilled salmon, served with bulgur wheat and a fresh feta salad, and I can honestly say it was the most beautifully cooked fish I’ve ever had. Perfectly seasoned, tender, and absolutely delicious. The portion size was generous, and the value for money was exceptional. To finish, I had the coconut ice cream (a dream!) and a comforting cup of tea, alongside a few alcoholic drinks. Everything was served promptly, and the turnaround was impressively quick without ever feeling rushed. One of the loveliest touches was being able to see the chefs preparing and cooking the food it added a sense of connection and care to the whole experience. The staff and management were outstanding, attentive, kind, and clearly passionate about what they do. Our waiter and waitress were especially lovely friendly without being overbearing, genuinely interested in making sure we had a great evening, and full of helpful suggestions. They struck that perfect balance of professionalism and warmth, and their energy really lifted the whole experience. It’s rare to find a place that combines such high-quality food with genuine hospitality, but The Arch does it effortlessly. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area, and I truly can’t wait to go back. They made me feel so welcome, and it’s easy to see why it’s become my husband’s...
Read moreWe recently visited The Arch Restaurant with a group of ten for an important family dinner. The restaurant has a nice and welcoming atmosphere, with a cozy interior. Although the tables are generally a bit tight, we were pleasantly surprised by the ample space provided for our large group, which made it comfortable for everyone. However, there were a few aspects that detracted from our experience. The bathrooms were not as clean as expected, which was disappointing. The service was also lacking in certain areas. Our waitress did not have a pen or paper to take our order and instead tried to memorize the orders for all ten people. This approach led to a lot of confusion, as she kept coming back to clarify our orders, which disrupted our conversations and made it difficult to enjoy the evening. As a result, some people received their meals before others, which was especially frustrating since we wanted to eat together for this special occasion.Overall, while The Arch Restaurant has a pleasant ambiance and decent service, the disorganization and lack of attention to detail in taking our orders made the experience less enjoyable. This was particularly disappointing given the importance of the dinner, as I was introducing my now in-laws to my family. I hope they can improve on these aspects to enhance the dining experience for...

Their chicken shish kebab wraps are lush!! They are cooked perfectly and have the "proper" taste of a chicken shish. Fresh and quality salad. The lads cooking there are all polite and friendly too. Been back three times and always been good to date.
Blinking awesome! Love the food and the service! Perfect place for Turkish food. Apart from the toilets - which they were having issues with, I could not find one fault with this place. The food was off the scale good. For starter went for the cacik and hummus with bread and it was so good. I knew I had my main coming, so shouldn't stuff my face with it, but it was so good I couldn't help it. We cleared the plates and bread bowl! For mains I had chicken shish and the boyff had a lamb kebab. I don't even normally like lamb at all, but I had a taste of his and it was yummmeeeee! My chicken was cooked absolutely perfectly and the rice was spot on. The service was amazing, we weren't left with empty glasses, the waiter seemed to have perfect timing so you didn't feel that he was hovering or looking over. He was chatty and charming and really funny! It has an outside seating area where you can eat, or just go outside with your drinks between courses or chill after eating. Until I move house, I am going to be going back here...
