I recently visited this children's indoor play area with my family, and I have to say that I was very disappointed with our experience. The facility is overpriced, and it does not offer good value for money. The admission fee for both adults and children is very high, and this was only the beginning of our unpleasant experience.
The food available in the facility was overpriced and of low quality, and this was a significant downside for us. Not only was the food expensive, but it was also poorly prepared and not at all tasty. The variety of options available was very limited, which made it even more challenging for us to find something we all liked. The drinks were also expensive, and the vending machines were not well-stocked, leaving us with little choice.
One of the most significant issues we encountered was the lack of offerings for children. The play area was very sparse, with only a few attractions that provided little stimulation. This left our children bored and disinterested, and we were disappointed with the level of entertainment available. We had to keep them occupied ourselves, and it was challenging to keep them entertained for the entire duration of our stay.
Furthermore, we observed some children climbing dangerously on electronic machines, which could have resulted in serious injuries. The staff did nothing until it was pointed out to them, and we found this lack of supervision and attention to safety concerning.
Another issue was that parents are required to pay for entry, even though we're already supervising our children the entire time. We found this very frustrating, as we had to pay almost as much as the children.
In conclusion, I would not recommend this children's indoor play area to others. The facility's high admission fee, low-quality food, sparse play area, lack of supervision and attention to safety, and additional cost for parents made for a very disappointing experience. I hope that the facility takes this feedback on board and works to make some improvements in the future to offer a better experience...
Read moreAhoy, ye scallywags! Gather 'round and let me recount me tale of a recent foray into the mysterious shores of Beach Cove Adventure Play Area!
'Twas a bright morn, me trusty ship anchored, and I set foot on the sandy coves of the play area, hopin' for a day filled with merriment. And by Davy Jones' locker, the place didn't disappoint! It was a land filled with wonders, a true pirate's playground where even an ol' sea dog like meself felt like a young buccaneer again.
However, as the sun started its descent, a shadow came o'er the horizon. The Halloween trinkets and decor they'd put up, well, they were as fearsome as a kraken! "Blimey," I heard a young deckhand exclaim, "those be more terrifyin' than a ghost ship in the fog!"
Now, I've faced me many a sea monster and marauded many a village, but even I had to admit, those decorations might be a bit much for the wee lads and lassies. Frightened the barnacles off some of them, it did!
But don't let that sway ye! The Beach Cove Adventure Play Area be a treasure trove of fun, and I reckon with a wee bit o' tweakin' to their spooky decor, it'd be as perfect as a chest full o' doubloons.
So, if ye be in the mood for some high-seas adventure without the risk of walkin' the plank, chart a course for Beach Cove. Just maybe leave the young cabin boys and girls at home 'til All Hallows' Eve be past. Yo ho ho, and a playtime...
Read moreActually in shock I’ve just paid £17.40 for two children and myself to come to soft play and an outdoor park. Not sure how they can now justify £7.95 for children to play - when I’m sure it used to be nearly half that price. Also, how they can charge adults £1.50 to watch their own children, baffles me. For just a few pounds more you’d be able to go to a visit a farm, with a soft play and several parks. The service was slow and then there wasn’t enough tables and so the adults had to stand/sit on a floor until a table was free - and they still charged you for that. Food is overpriced, especially for the quality, and with limited options. Also just a warning if you even contemplate having an annual pass - you’d be out £150. My children were bored with the soft play within an hour, so they definitely needed the outside bit. We won’t be visiting again and wouldn’t...
